HANDCRAFTED LONG COAT IN 100% PURE CAMEL HAIR

Price

€1,200.00

Some garments are bought. Others are kept for decades, then passed on.

This coat is crafted entirely from pure camel hair  — one of northern Italy's historic textile mills — at a weight of 520 g/m². The fabric provides exceptional warmth without sacrificing drape or movement. The fibre, collected during the natural moulting of Bactrian camels, is inherently thermal, remarkably lightweight for its insulating capacity, and silk-smooth against the skin.

The inner lining is 100% cupro — a natural fibre derived from cellulose, breathable, temperature-regulating and silken to the touch. The coherent choice for a garment considered from beginning to end.

Every piece is hand-sewn in Spain, in the time it takes to do it properly. Production is intentionally limited. No two coats are identical.

Dry clean only. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat.

ABOUT THE FABRIC

This coat is made from 100% pure camel hair sourced from the historic mills of Biella. The fibre is collected during the natural moult of the Bactrian camel — a process that respects the animal completely — and is distinguished by its hollow structure, which provides exceptional thermal insulation with remarkable lightness. The camel tone you see is the fibre's own colour, undyed.
