A Murmells coat is made to see you through many winters. That is why it is only ever made in pure fibres: cashmere, camel hair and alpaca, each an animal's answer to extreme cold. Fine fibres that insulate without weight, giving coats that are warm, light and drape naturally. Spun in the mills of Biella, they come to our atelier, in a village on the Extremaduran dehesa, where every piece is patterned, cut and sewn by hand over 27 to 40 hours. Most are made in double-face: unlined, with the two faces closed by hand at every edge. Coats, capes and jackets outside the seasons, made to be worn for decades.
