A coat finished on both sides, with no lining between it and the body: it is the fibre that keeps you warm. Camel hair, Mongolian cashmere and Andean alpaca, sewn by hand in Spain, one piece at a time and with no seasons to follow.

Trunk Shows

The name is an old one: houses travelled with their trunks to wherever the client was, and showed the cloth and the garments away from the shop, with time to spare.

Murmells works this way. A ninety-minute talk, in a small group, to see the fibres close up — camel hair, cashmere, alpaca — and to learn the trade of double-face.
