This coat is crafted entirely from pure camel hair, woven at Tollegno — one of northern Italy's historic textile mills — at a weight of 520 g/m². The fabric provides exceptional warmth without sacrificing drape or movement. The fibre, collected during the natural moulting of Bactrian camels, is inherently thermal, remarkably lightweight for its insulating capacity, and silk-smooth against the skin.
Every piece is hand-sewn in Spain, in the time it takes to do it properly. Production is intentionally limited. No two coats are identical.
Dry clean only. Do not tumble dry. Iron on low heat.

ABOUT THE FABRIC
CAMEL HAIR
Camel hair is collected during the natural moult of the Bactrian camel — a process that causes no harm to the animal. The inner coat, the finest and most prized layer, yields fibres as fine as 16 microns — comparable to high-grade cashmere. Its hollow structure acts as a natural insulator: it retains warmth without adding weight. The camel tone you see is the fibre's own colour, undyed.
